Who we are:

The Compound is an artist-run nonprofit in Baltimore City that supports the collective production of experimental cultural, social and urban space. We do this by developing and renting out affordable and safe housing, studio space, and event space for artists and artisans. The Compound functions as a space maker for cultural and community programming, local small businesses, nonprofits, and volunteer ventures in East Baltimore Midway.
